Summary: Gido is a new project incubated by SCommerce (formerly known as Giaohangnhanh) with the ambition to create a digital platform for modern forwarding and cross-border delivery.

The emergence of cross-border e-commerce raises the need for more transparent and efficient cross-border supply chain. Shipments need to be handled, processed and tracked at SKU and/or individual parcel level instead of container/ pallet, and cross-border inventory needs to be synchronized on a connected IT system to allow real time inventory allocation and supply chain shortening.

Gido platform consists of 2 main modules:

  • Overseas warehouse management platform;
  • Freight forwarder platform;

With this platform, Gido aspires to serve the following groups of customers:

  • E-commerce marketplace who would like to support cross-border selling from other countries to Vietnam & Southeast Asia (cross-border delivery for e-commerce parcel);
  • Customers who want to import from other countries such as China, Korea.. and need one comprehensive software to manage their shipments from these countries to Vietnam & Southeast Asia;

You will:

  • Collect the requirements from (vision of top management, market, clients, competitors, etc) and give a crystal clear requirement to the engineering team. Be part of testing team to understand the flow and to identify the user pain;
  • Works closely with technical internal teams, including engineering and development, to write user stories and requirements;
  • You do not have to code but should be able to talk in their language to engineering team and represent customers to your management;
  • Create product road map, define customer who will most fit the product’s core values;
  • Validate product market fit, channel fit, for the product, using data driven, experimental approaches;
  • Document SOP for operations team/ external stakeholders to interact with the product.
  • Draft template for contract and terms of service for customers, vendors;
  • Roll out product with vendors and internal team; Train vendors and internal team to use system and minimise discrepancy between physical operations and online data;

An ideal candidate should be:

  • Full fluency in English;
  • Data driven, product mindset;
  • Background in technology / computer science is preferred;
  • Strong analytical thinking;
  • Willing to explore the unknowns and set up new things;
  • Obsessed with data and optimisation;
  • Think clearly with funnel, probability, metrics, iteration, variable;
  • Experiment mindset: do not think too much without data; rather, you should be able to identify key assumptions, formulate quick action plans, run A/B testing, and optimise/ revise once you have more data;
  • Ready and able to learn fast;
  • Next-level attention to detail;
  • Willing to get hands dirty with on-the-ground operations;
  • Very structured with high level of energy;
